INFANT/TODDLER

The Domestic Infant program places infants into adoptive families, in open adoptions.  In an open adoption, the birth family and the adoptive family work cooperatively toward the placement of a child.  They plan on ongoing relationships in which they will communicate with each other in a mutually agreeable form.  The contact may include letters, pictures, phone calls, and get-togethers.  Each adoptive placement is unique and the relationship centers around the best interest of the child.  Birth parents and adoptive parents may reside in different states.
