The Domestic Infant program places infants into adoptive families, in open adoptions. In an open adoption, the birth family and
the adoptive family work cooperatively toward the placement of a child. They plan on ongoing relationships in which they will communicate with each other in a mutually agreeable form. The contact may include
letters, pictures, phone calls, and get-togethers. Each adoptive placement is unique and the relationship centers around the best interest of the child. Birth parents and adoptive parents may reside in
different states. For program fees, please refer to the "Explanation of Adoption Fees" |
